Each farm and each family is unique. In this webinar series, learn how to protect what you’ve worked for and provide a pathway for the next generation’s success!

Passing Management and Ownership During Life - Yes, now really is the time!
Construct a plan to pass on the farm before you pass on. Yes, it's a sensitive subject, but successful family farm transfers start early, continue through a series of steps and are substantially completed while the older generation can still participate. During this webinar, attorney George Twohig will discuss the role of limited liability companies and other legal entities in farm transfers. You will see examples of effective business models, and learn how to take advantage of important tax planning opportunities while avoiding tax traps.

Monday, March 5 (register by February 27)
Understand Effective Estate Planning
Life is uncertain, and you hope that the family farm transfer is substantially completed before you are gone. Your estate plan is the cornerstone to making certain that the transfer of the farm can be completed in the event of your untimely death. You can prepare for the challenge of balancing your obligations to the children who stay on the farm while providing fair treatment for the children who left the farm. This webinar will offer examples of special techniques used in estate planning for farm families. You will also learn how the costs, delays and public exposure of court probate can be avoided.

You'll be equipped for estate planning after this informative series!
