The Wisconsin Pork Association and Wisconsin Show Pig Association are now accepting entries for the 8th annual WPA/WSPA Futurity Show & Sale. The event promotes quality seedstock production and youth pig projects in Wisconsin.
The Futurity Show & Sale will be held on April 10, beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Jefferson. Pork producers interested in consigning animals to the sale must submit their
entries and entry fee of $15 per head by March 26.
Wisconsin Pork Association and the Wisconsin Show Pig Association will be teaming up to encourage 4-H and FFA youth to 'Buy Wisconsin First.' The sale will feature numerous Wisconsin breeders.
The show will be held at 12:00 p.m., followed by the Wisconsin Club Lamb Association Sale at 2 p.m. A youth swine educational program will be held prior to the futurity sale.
