Ten dairy producers from Wisconsin met in March 1992 to exchange ideas for a professional dairy producers’ group. They saw a need for business-based, educational programs that would help them make better, well-informed decisions in their own operations. They envisioned fellow producers joining the effort to build a far-reaching network.
Their meeting that day grew into the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW). The group’s original purpose—to lead the success of the dairy industry—remains our guiding vision.
